Halls Gap Zoo
If you’re visiting the Grampians region for a wedding celebration, stay a while to explore the famous Halls Gap Zoo!
The largest wildlife zoo in regional Victoria, the Halls Gap Zoo is home to over 150 species of magnificent Australian and exotic mammals, reptiles and birds.
Set in beautiful, tranquil bushland, you can wander around the animal enclosures at your leisure and even organise a close encounter with a cheeky meerkat, snake, dingo, chameleon or alligator!
Animal lovers will also be impressed with the zoo’s breeding and conservation programs for the Brush-tailed Bettong, Tasmanian devil, Bilby, Bush Stone-Curlew, Quoll & Rock-wallabies.
Halls Gap Zoo is situated on the Ararat-Pomonal Road, just a five minute drive from Halls Gap. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily (excluding Christmas Day).
Admission is $20 adults, $10 children (3-16 years, under 3 years free) and family $50 (2 adults, 3 children). There is a 10% concession for Senior Card holders and group discounts are also available.
Close encounter admission ranges from $10 to $25 and should be booked in advance.
