‘Perception’ by Donna O’Connor, Goat Gallery Natimuk

One of our GWD members Horsham photographer Donna O’Connor will show her printmaking works at an exhibition called ‘Perception’ at Natimuk’s Goat Gallery from September 29 to October 23.

Whilst photography is her first love (check out her GWD profile!), Donna’s exhibition of print works in Perception reflects her connection to regional sport, and the love for her family and friends.

The works are primarily mono type images built from a variety of printmaking techniques, notably intaglio based but including the use of ‘chin-colle’. This is a method which introduces a layered collage to the printed surface.

Donna, who has lived in the Wimmera all of her life, says that self image and perception are notions which have profoundly influenced her personally, and she is ready to express these feelings in a creative manner.

Exhibition open times are 1pm to 4pm Saturdays and Sundays.

We wish you all the best with the exhibition Donna!
